Sharp Zaurus SL-C3200 hardware information

This is a standard 4-pin 3.5 mm audio jack. Note, that some 3-pin jacks don't fit inside.

Resistance meter can work measure arbitrary values. But drivers are ready for CE-RH2 remote control, which uses serially connected resistors with buttons between ring 2 and ground.

Connector on board is Hosiden TCX3104, connector on plug should be Hosiden TCX3106 (SMT mount, used in Sharp serial cable and craddle) type. Similar third party connector is also available from Five Star Associates, Inc. (cable mount, similar connector is used in most third party cables).
Signal levels are 3.3 V. Serial lines use 3.3 V serial TTL levels, but RxD and TxD levels are inverted (i. e. 0 V instead of TTL 1 {or -12 V}, +3.3 V instead of TTL 0 {or +12 V}).

DC power jack on board is Hosiden HEC3654, compatible with EIAJ-02 RC-5320A standard.
Adapter EA 70S can provide 5V/2A. Backlight may consume up to 400mA, HDD 200mA, the rest of Zaurus about 200mA, charger another 600mA (but with a standard kernel it happens only if the zaurus is turned off), USB without hardware modification 150mA, CF and SD up to say 500mA (in worst case each of them).

Connector consists from several pins on the PCB under the battery cover. Pins are numbered from the sqare pin.
