Matchbox 2 Project Heritage

Matchbox project was a project of a very light environment for embedded systems. Matchbox 2 was a simplification and complete rewrite of the code to GTK+2. It was never released. Source code is no more available from the upstream.

But the project was abandoned just a step from the finish and it is possible to make it working.

• OpenEmbedded recipes with some required patches (later version may exist in OE repositories)
• The only available backtrace of an unfixed crash with all patches applied. The crash was never reproduced.
