Why to use protection pad

protection pad in useI am keeping my Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF700T in a bag. Pressure to the tablet body sometimes forces touch between the keyboard part and the tablet part. If there is a small grain of sand, it causes a scratch on the screen. That is why I needed a protection. I used a microfibre towel for some time, but it is ugly and impractical.

That is why I made a dedicated protection pad. Similar pad can be used for any tablet or notebook.

When applying spray adhesive, apply it only to the rubber. Do not apply too thick layer, and wait a minute or two before attaching the microfiber. If you fail to do it, the glue may rise through the microfiber and create an adhesive surface on the opposite side. If it happens, you have to carefully remove the adhesive by a cotton earbud, cleaning gasoline and a lot of patience, until the pad stops being sticky.

Camera protection is a rubber pad with microfiber on both places. The rubber is semi-cut for easier bending over the edge and it has a small circular. groove to better attach to the camera frame.

The anti-slip pad keeps the camera protection in place

Also the rubber pad has three grooves that fits to the rubber standoffs-stumps and helps to keep the pad in the correct position.
